A food and beverage discovery app that aimed to do no harm.
Gulo Gulo was a food and beverage discovery app with the simple premise of “do no harm.” There were no reviews or scores available. Bars and restaurants were sorted by non-disruptive metrics that promoted discovery and growth over potentially biased numerical evaluations.
The idea was born out of frustration with platforms like Yelp that reduce entire dining experiences to a number. Gulo Gulo aimed to strip all of that away and let the places speak for themselves.
